Where Can I Find My Google Ad? – Updated, 2022.

You may not find your Google Ads in the expected places if you don’t know how to understand Google Ads. After all, it’s a smart move for a business to invest in Google Ads. When you browse the internet, you see other people’s Google Ads.
But Why do you never see your own advertisement?
Clients ask us this question all the time. The answer is simple. As a matter of fact, this is often the case for most business websites.
Let me first put your mind at ease: don’t worry. If your Google ad does not show your own personal results, there is nothing wrong.
Below, we’ll discuss Google Ads and SEM (search engine marketing).
As an ad expert myself, Eric Luis… I Would like to explain why you can’t see your own Google Ads.

Getting to know Google Ads (and why yours does not appear)
The best use of Google Ads for a website is to generate website traffic or phone leads, in order to sell or promote products or services, or get email list signups. By using them in this way, you can measure the ROI of your ads, so you know how your money is being spent.
Your budget ultimately determines whether you see your own ad. Firstly, let’s take a look at the two types of Google Ads search ads and display ads because the type of ad you use can determine whether you see your own.
Search Advertisements
An ad that appears when someone searches on Google is known as a Search Ad. Imagine you’re a Bridgend Builder. You may appear in search results if someone Googles ‘builder in Bridgend’.
Your direct services appear in front of people who are looking for them, so these types of ads are extremely powerful and are a good source of website traffic.
You should keep in mind, however, that your ad won’t appear every time someone searches for your keywords. There’s actually a bidding war going on between your company and every other company that’s using similar keywords (and trust us, the competition can be fierce).
Consequently, if you have a small budget, less than £20/day you will quickly run out of money.
As a result, you might be searching for your ad after your ad spend for the day has been exhausted. In this case, you would not be able to see your ad.
Geographic parameters compound this problem. You might see your ads even if you have a small budget if you target a specific location (such as a small city).
Your budget will likely be exhausted before you see your own ads on any given day if you’re targeting a huge area like all of Wales, for instance.
It’s all about numbers. With smart SEO/SEM, you don’t have to spend a lot on Google Ads to get results. You’re not likely to see your own ad unless you’re spending a lot in a very targeted region.
Don’t worry, though. The right people will still see and click on your campaign if it’s set up correctly. That’s so much more important than stumbling upon your own advertisement!
Display ads on Google
The way display ads work is a little different. The images or videos appear on websites within a Display Network, and you pay per 1000 impressions.
If your budget is not too small and your geographic targeting is not too broad, you’re more likely to see your own Display ads. However, there is a caveat.
There are specific websites within that network that show these ads, not all of them.
In other words, if you’re on a ‘wrong’ website, your ad has a 0% chance of appearing.
There is no need to panic. Even if you don’t see your ad, that doesn’t mean potential customers don’t or people are not reading your website content.

Ad results in search engines
It’s probably clear by now what’s going on. Your ads may not appear unless your budget is high (at least £100/day) and your target region is small.
It’s okay if that happens.
Your ad may not be seen, but that does not mean it isn’t working.
The Google Analytics account of every client is accessible to us. Using that account, you can find out where, when, and on what devices your ads are being displayed. Your account contains so much valuable information.
Hence, we are more than happy to help clients understand their Google Analytics accounts. Information overload can sometimes result from all that valuable information. Some people log into their Analytics account once, find it overwhelming, and never log back in.
In order to help clients understand what Google Analytics is telling them, we like to spend an hour or so with them explaining anything they may feel uncomfortable with.
Why is that?
As a business website owner, you must understand your financial numbers as well as your website analytics. Understanding your business and where it is headed requires both.
We also provide monthly analytic reports to our digital marketing clients combined with if they choose hosting, SEO and social media management content writing, phone leads etc breakdowns.
The difference between seeing your ad and seeing the results
Google Ads don’t matter if you see them or not.
When potential customers see them or not is more important. This is how Google Ads help your business.
An SEM/SEO expert can help with that.
Using proven campaign management and optimization strategies, combined with social media marketing, increases conversations from paid Google Ads. In digital marketing, it is an essential tool. Getting qualified customers who are looking for exactly what you offer requires highly targeted keywords.
A Google account can be set up by anyone and ads can be displayed. Heck, you might even be able to do it yourself.
In order to connect with the right people at the right time with the right message, you must know how to use Google Ads properly. Your money is at risk if you don’t have this knowledge.
The person who manages your Google Ads account will target the keywords and display campaigns that will drive conversions (purchases, leads, and goal completions) to your site.
So why not use our experience in cybersecurity and the IT sector of more than 25 years combined with our Google Ads partner experience to enhance your business today!
