Google My Business Guidelines
Your business will qualify for a Google My Business listing if you operate locally or look to provide a service within an area.
To successfully profit from a business listing, Google have created some introductory principles that you need to be apprehensive of. To check if you’re eligible, does your business fall into any of the following orders?
—My business has a physical address that it operates out of (e.g., estate agent)
—My business operates at the address of guests (e.g., electrician)
You’re eligible for a business listing in Google My Business, If the answer is yeah to either of the points above so congratulations. You can set up an account through any Gmail by simply searching ‘google business listing’.
Once you have successfully opened an account, you’ll be suitable to add your business name, address, telephone number, website address, opening hours as well as numerous other features.
This is a veritably useful tool to those dealing locally, but Google has found suspicions that some business listing users take advantage of this free service. So here are some things that you need to avoid:
— Stuffing your business listing with service or geographical keywords.
